100th Day of School!!!

It's finally here! The hundredth day of school has arrived!! The kids knew it . . . the teacher knew it . . . I knew it. However, my body did not know it. Apparently, I was so tired that I didn't want to go to the 100th day of school! What's wrong with me? Who wouldn't want to go to the 100th day of school? I was looking forward to it but I still woke up late. Like 3 and a half hours late. Yep. I can't believe it happened. And I'm quite ashamed that it did. However, I couldn't go back and change it. So, I just had to accept it. After I texted my teacher, I frantically rushed around and made it out the door in about 15 minutes so I ended up being only a little over 2 hours late. Better than 3, right?! When I showed up, the kids were CRAZY already! As soon as they saw my shirt, they all exclaimed, "Miss Wood, I love your shirt!" while simultaneously trying to eat imaginary bubble gum pieces off of it. It was hilarious and I'm surprised they didn't pull any pom poms off. They had already had cupcakes and they were just SO excited about their shirts. Let me just say that I'm glad we only had them for half of the day. :) Here are some pictures from the day of their shirts and art, etc.

This is the sign that Miss Baker made to go outside of the classroom. :)

While they were doing their art projects, I went around and got some pictures of their cool shirts. They were all encouraged to make a shirt with 100 things on it. The most creative shirt got a prize. :) Here is Keaton's with his 100 Legos, in the shape of the number 100, mind you.

Noah with his 100 glow-in-the-dark stars.

Bailey, working so diligently. Her shirt had her name written 100 times. So cute. :)

Jack being silly. I was trying to get a picture of his shirt, which won the contest, but he was being silly. Lol. His shirt had 100 "100 Grand" wrappers on it. :)

Macey's was probably my favorite! It was a stick figure holding 100 balloons, which were all fingerprints.

Working on their art project. :)

Riley, with her 100-Sweetheart heart with an arrow. :)

Chloe and Lauren K. :)

Messy, messy!

All of their masterpieces. :)

Miss Baker reading books having to do with the 100th day of school.

Joshua and his 100 bright colored pom poms!

Of course, they wanted a picture together. :)

And then they did. Lol.

Cody and I. :)

Last, but not least, our class picture. Mostly everyone is looking, surprisingly. :)

After all the crazy kiddos were gone, Miss Baker and I got some cute pictures. :)

It was a good day had by all. Only one of my pom poms fell off, and that was because I was playing Knockout in P.E. Lol. I love being a teacher! :)
